Yes. My Specter will work in most web browsers on any device. In the field we would recommend a tablet for ease of use in placing services, however a phone is also able to be used. When using a phone in the field, it’s recommended to use horizontally for ease of viewing plans.

Yes, you can have a company added to your My Specter dashboard, but only after billing arrangements have been made. My Specter issues custom packages for customers wanting more than 1 Company. Please contact us to tailor a package to suit your needs
Firstly, people wishing to access My Specter must login on their own. They won’t have any sites listed, only the sample site. Then, the company administrator can add the user to their sites. The administrator simply needs to enter their email address in the ‘Setup Users’ page accessible via the company dropdown box. Then select the appropriate role based on the new user and press save. Upon the new user's next login, they will see all of the sites listed against that company.
My Specter can accept .jpeg .png or .pdf files for upload
Yes, My Specter has the ability for plan versioning. Simply follow the prompts after selecting ‘New Version’ in the drop-down box on the ‘Plan Detail’ heading. Be sure to place the reference points on precisely the identical location to keep all services in the relative new locations.
Yes, you can make any changes to the service types at site level. Simply click on the dropown box next to your site name to enter the edit service types window.
After loading a plan, press the ‘add service’ button at the top of the plan and select the service type. After selecting the service type the next click on the plan will place the service
By double clicking on a service will highlight the pin in a red square, then you can drag to the new location. The new location will be stored once moved.
If you have been setup as a “Power User” or above you can delete a service, plan and site. After confirming to delete a service, plan or site the data will be permanently deleted from your account.
Depending on your network speed, image upload normally take 2-3 seconds. If you have poor network connection it will take longer.
Yes. There is no limit on image qty per service. Please be mindful that the more images stored against a service will take longer to load on future viewing due to increased data download.

If a site Wi-Fi connection is available, we would recommend you connect to this. If this is not possible you can take the images on your device and upload them to services once in a 3G/4G area
Using the report generator you can produce a printable report with all service listed either by site or plan
My Specter reduces the size of an image to improve user exierience and network performance. Regardless of the size of the image we will only display a maximum image size of 720 x 450, around 0.35Mb.
Therefore reducing size of images on your phone or tablet will assist your experience in upload time due to the database reducing them anyway.
